The Shocking Truth About Tim Houston AKA “The Shadow”
If you’re even remotely involved in the internet marketing world, you’ve probably been bombarded in the past few days about a 27-year old called “The Shadow”. His real name is Tim Houston and he’s a good friend of mine.
OK, so here’s the scoop… Tim is 27 years old and he lives the ultimate internet marketing lifestyle. Basically he brings in over a million bucks a year and he spends most of his time surfing or traveling and just living an amazing lifestyle. In other words, he doesn’t do the 9-5 thing (or in my case, the 6 am – 9 pm thing).
But here’s the cool part. Tim does what’s known as “direct-linking” in the affiliate marketing world. For anyone reading this who doesn’t know what that is, it’s when you simply place text ads in a PPC search engines link Google Adwords, for example, but when a visitor clicks on the text ad, it takes them directly to a vendor through Tim’s affiliate link.

Now, that might sound like a lot of work, but… Tim has developed a software program that basically automates all the grunt work involved in setting up Google Adwords campaigns.
If there was ever a holy grail in the internet marketing world, this would be it. Think about it for a moment. A way to crank out hundreds, even thousands of ads, that direct link to products via your affiliate link, that you can upload to Google, almost automatically.
